spider veins, venous insufficiency, and related circulation issues. We also providecosmetic treatments for unwanted veins.

A: In most cases, no referral is needed. You can schedule a consultation directly.
However, some insurance plans may require one.

A: Not always. While spider veins are usually cosmetic, varicose veins can cause pain,
swelling, heaviness and are considered a medical issue if left untreated.

Symptoms & Conditions

A: Common symptoms include leg pain, heaviness, swelling, itching, burning, restless legs, or visible bulging veins.

A: They often develop due to weak or damaged vein valves, genetics, pregnancy,
obesity, standing for long periods, or aging.

A: Yes. If left untreated, varicose veins may lead to skin changes, ulcers, blood clots, or worsening pain and swelling.

Diagnosis

A: We use an ultrasound to evaluate how well your veins are functioning and to
determine the best treatment. This will be performed by a sonographer and results
discussed by our licensed provider on the day of your consultation.

Treatment Options

A: Options include sclerotherapy, endovenous laser or radiofrequency ablation, microphlebectomy, and cosmetic procedures for spider veins.

A: Most procedures are minimally invasive, done in-office, and cause little to no
discomfort. Patients are typically awake and comfortable.

A: Most treatments take 30–60 minutes, and you can usually walk out right after.

Recovery & Results

A: Recovery is usually quick. Most patients return to normal activities the same day or within 24 hours.

A: Full results may take a few weeks as your body heals and the veins fade. Depending
on your veins, several treatment sessions may be necessary to get most optimal
results.

A: Treated veins typically don’t return, but new veins may develop over time. We can help with ongoing care if needed.

Safety & Comfort

A: Yes. Our procedures are FDA-approved, minimally invasive, and performed by
experienced vein specialists.

A: No major scars. Treatments are done through tiny punctures or injections, leaving little to no trace.

Lifestyle & Prevention

wearing compression stockings, and avoiding long periods of standing or sitting can help.

A: Yes. Many women develop varicose or spider veins during pregnancy due to
