Armed with a wealth of knowledge, vast experience, unwavering commitment and big dreams, Dr. Vahe Melkonyan founded Vena Clinic in 2012 and never looked back, only forward. Today, he runs and operates several busy locations and has made a name, built on hard work and integrity, in communities he so proudly serves. Realizing how often vein disorders strike and sometimes are overlooked, Dr. Melkonyan set out to start a state-of-the-art facility with one goal and only one goal alone, to provide comprehensive diagnosis and vein treatments that are safe, medically tested and approved with very minimal or no down time. Hence, no disruption to one’s daily routine. When you choose us, then you allow us to guide you to a path towards recovery, from a vein condition that might have brought you

Vahe Melkonyan, MD

Dr. Vahe Melkonyan is the founding medical director of VēNA vascular lab and vein clinic. He is among the first few diplomats of the American Board of Phlebology, committing himself to the advancement of the highest standard in vein care. He has a special interest and have extensive expertise in diagnosis and treatment of venous disease and its complications.

Dr.Melkonyan offers comprehensive venous treatments such as EVLA (Endovenous Laser Ablation), Radiofrequency ablation, Clarivein mechanochemical ablation, sclerotherapy, microphlebectomy, cosmetic spider vein removal, and more. All treatments are planned for individual patient’s needs after a thorough evaluation has been performed.

David Moore, MD

Dr. Moore has been a practicing Vascular Surgeon in Southern California since 1990. With decades of experience, he comprehends the physical and emotional toll venous conditions can take on individuals. Dr. Moore is dedicated to improving the lives of his patients through expert vascular care, delivered with competence, compassion, and kindness.

As a Board-Certified Surgeon, Dr. Moore has honed his skills and knowledge in treating vascular disorders. His extensive expertise includes the treatment of varicose veins, spider veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), chronic venous insufficiency, and arterial diseases.

At VeNA Vein Clinic, Dr. Moore provides a range of advanced treatments, such as EVLA (laser ablation), Closure-Fast (RFA ablation), VenaSeal ablation, Varithena microfoam ablation and cosmetic microsclerotherapy. His commitment to patient care ensures that each individual receives personalized and effective treatment plans.

Gayane Sargsyan, FNP-C

Gayane V. Sargsyan, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has devoted her entire career to the treatment of medical and cosmetic venous disorders. She is highly skilled in both micro sclerotherapy and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, having successfully treated thousands of complex venous conditions at VeNA. Her extensive experience in managing and caring for patients with complicated veins demonstrates her exceptional expertise and dedication to her field.

Educated at Hertford College, Oxford University, Gayane applies a holistic approach to patient care, combining her advanced medical knowledge with a compassionate understanding of each patient’s unique needs. Gayane’s academic achievements are distinguished by the honorary titles of Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude. Such prestigious education achievements have equipped her with a broad and profound understanding of medical science, which she integrates into her daily practice.
